Trussville has several lovely parks.
Civitan Park is located at the corner of Highway 11 and Parkway Drive. It has a walking bridge which joins a level parkside and a more hilly area that has several picnic tables. The bridge crosses the Cahaba River.
Magnolia Park is a small open area where soccer games are sometimes held. It is located near First Baptist Church-Trussville, one of the largest churches in Trussville.
“The Mall” is a lovely park in an historic neighborhood with a pavilion and picnic tables, tennis courts, and lots of room for the kids to run and play. Across Parkway Drive from this park is a beautiful courtyard area which separates Hewitt-Trussville Middle School and the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce. Nearby there are two (2) playgrounds. One of these playgrounds is recently renovated and has modern equipment and a turf-type surface.
Trussville also has an excellent 128-acre sports complex, which has hosted many tournaments for different sports including softball, soccer, baseball and football.
