Trussville Chamber member and Hommati franchise owner Jacob Meyer recently launched his first book, “How Technology is Changing Home Buying!”. A resource for realtors and home buyers, the book addresses current and future trends in purchasing a home.

“The market was changing – it’s so different than it was 10 years ago because of technology – and there’s a need for agents and home buyers to see the true direction it’s taking,” Meyer said.

Through Hommati, Meyer has discovered ways to help meet that need by showcasing real estate listings with dynamic visual content like aerial videos, 3D walkthroughs, and virtual staging. In fact, his new book delves into how he, Hommati, and other companies are reshaping the home buying process and the real estate business as a whole with cutting-edge technology. The book also takes a look at what the future of home building could look like.

A 16-year veteran of the restaurant industry, Meyer began to have a change of heart about his future, as well as the future of his wife and daughter, during the COVID-19 pandemic. So he purchased Hommati Franchise 216 in May of 2021, said goodbye to the restaurant world, and opened his own business in his hometown Leeds this past July.
