The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to coordinate a variety of events throughout the year. From City Fest to the annual Christmas Parade, you and your family are sure to enjoy events around Trussville.

Saturday December 14, 2024
2:00 pm

We hope you will join us for the 2024 Christmas Parade as it passes through historic Downtown Trussville. This is a free event for the citizens of Trussville to enjoy. The parade will begin on Parkway Drive. It will turn right onto Highway 11 and right again onto Chalkville Mountain Road. The parade will end after it passes by the Christmas tree at the Mall. 

This year's parade theme will be determined soon! Entries are encouraged but not required to take part in the theme for the float competition. Prizes will be awarded to: Best Interpretation of Theme, Most Original, Most Innovative, Best Overall, Best Walking Group, Chamber's Choice and several honorable mentions will also be named.

Make plans to attend the City's Community Caroling and Tree Lighting Ceremony in historical downtown Trussville on Sunday, December 1, 4:00-6pm. Gather on the mall where there will be Christmas carols, hot chocolate, cookies and other Christmas activities. Santa will also be there to visit with the kids. This free event is a perfect way to kick off the Christmas season in Trussville. The Mayor and Santa will light the tree at 6pm.

Trussville Dog Daze is a fun, family event on the historic Mall in Trussville and the admission is FREE! So much going on including kids' activities, vendors, food trucks, art walk, and lots of entertainment. Make plans to visit Dog Daze on September 14, it is a day you will not want to miss!

At the event, you will have the opportunity to sample food from area restaurants and bakeries.

Get your tickets for the Heritage Days 2024 Home Tour in Trussville’s beloved historic district, presented by the Cahaba Homestead Heritage Foundation.  Homes on the tour include “The O.G.,” “Cottage Charm,” and the oldest home in Trussville, “Ante Bellum Belle” located just north of the Cahaba Village.  Proceeds from the Home Tour support a Daffodil Trail in Trussville's historic district!  All tickets must be picked up at the check-in table at the school parking lot during home tour hours. Will-call tickets will be reserved under the name placed with the order.
All tickets purchased before April 21 are eligible to win a raffle basket filled with gift certificates and items from Trussville businesses!

The Trussville Tribune will announce their Person of the Year award.

The Trussville Veteran's Committee will present their second annual Veteran of the Year award.

A brief awards presentation will begin at 6:15 pm.

The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce and BBB Serving Central and South Alabama is offering a FREE Shred Event at the Trussville Civic Center Parking lot on November 9, 9am-12pm. Individuals can bring up to 2 boxes or 2 bags totaling up to 50lbs. to be shredded. All you have to do is drive up and they will take care of the rest. No businesses please. Shredding service is provided by Gone for Good.

Make plans to join us at the Trussville Entertainment District (TED) on Sunday, July 18 for a double feature movie event!  We will show Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs at 5pm and Ratatouille at 7pm.  These two "food" movies will be shown on the big screen at the Entertainment District Stage to help celebrate the kick-off of Trussville Restaurant Week.  Come early to get a good spot and visit our sponsors who will have activities set up for the kids.
